Steel Tube Frame
- Chair frames are constructed for strength and durability using 20mm x 20mm x 1.2mm steel tubing.
- Stronger than the more common 1mm steel frame.
- Powder-coated finish protects against scratches and chips.
- Design ensures stability and strength, even with frequent use.
- Extra reinforced bar under the seat to ensure safety and additional strength.
- Independently strength and stability tested to BS EN 16139:2013.
- STAC in-house strength and stability tested with a static spread load of 200kg.
Upholstery & Foam
- Fabric and foam meet BS 7176 requirements for medium hazard, to CRIB 5 standards.
- Every fabric is at minimum to be tested to withstand at least 50,000 Martindale rub cycles (premium fabrics also available on request).
- Dense weave and durable materials maintain a new appearance over time, even with frequent use.
- Most marks or stains can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth, advice is available for tougher stains.
Seat & Backrest
- Reinforced 9mm plywood layer in the seat adds firmness and durability under sudden pressure.
- Hidden seamless back fixings for a more refined look.
Glides & Feet
- Stacking glides protect chairs from scratches during stacking.
- Rubber or plastic feet reduce noise and prevent floor scuffs.
Stacking
- Chairs can be stacked 10 high, optimising space-saving potential.
- Taller stacks at user discretion.
The economy steel banqueting chair range is suitable for general contract use and exceeds CRIB 5 testing. An ideal choice when in need of a robust banqueting chair when hosting an event or a function. The frame of our banqueting chair is made of steel tubing measuring 20mm x 20mm x 1.2mm for additional strength. When transporting our banqueting chairs, the use of a STAC banqueting chair trolley is recommended.
Our banqueting chairs can be used in banqueting halls, catering events, village halls, pubs, or at any event where a robust chair is needed. The economy steel banqueting chair is available in 5 different colours. Our chairs are also a great addition to our range of folding tables. Delivery Information
At Strictly Tables & Chairs, we offer three convenient delivery options to best suit your needs and deadlines.
Standard Delivery
This is a cost-effective option if your order is not required urgently, however we will still be able to get delivery to you safely, in just 3-5 working days!
Express Delivery
If you need your order more urgently, you can select our Express option. If you order before 3pm on any weekday, you will usually receive your items on the next working day. Depending on your postcode, it can be 1-3 working days, however it is rare that it would fall onto the 2nd or 3rd working day.
Collection
We also offer the option to collect directly from our warehouse located here in Shefford, Bedfordshire. Almost all orders will be ready for collection on the same day as your purchase. All you need to do is let us know when you’re on your way, and we will get your order ready to pick up.
Please note that bespoke and manufactured to order products may have longer lead times.
Booking in Deliveries
Once your order is placed, whether that be through the website, via email or on the phone, we will send you an order confirmation, which will contain your order number, invoice and our contact details. We won’t just turn up unannounced! Our Logistics team will call to discuss and arrange delivery dates and times with you.
Delivery Restrictions
We will always discuss any delivery restrictions with you. Some of our products are very large and require to be delivered on pallets. This is a curb side service, which means that delivery will be made as close to your front door as possible. However, if you require special assistance or a specific time slot, please let us know and we will do our very best to accommodate your requirements.
